CoDrafter is a Chrome extension that helps you write better messages. This policy explains what data is involved and how it is handled.

What data the extension accesses

This data is used solely to generate writing suggestions in real time. It is never stored on any server, never logged, and never used for any purpose other than producing the suggestion you requested.

What is stored locally on your device

To personalise suggestions over time, the extension stores a small writing style profile in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local). This includes:

This data never leaves your device. It is not synced to any server and is not accessible to anyone other than you.

AI processing

When you request a suggestion, the extension sends the following to our secure proxy server, which forwards it to Anthropic's Claude API:

The proxy server does not log, store, or retain any of this data. Anthropic's data handling is governed by Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
